Course Overview

Tonight I presented the "nuts and bolts" of the course, based on information contained in the course syllabus (which I will email to the addresses you provided on the index card you submitted). Review the 10-page syllabus carefully, as it is our contract for this semester. It also contains general truths that we will connect to our individual experiences throughout the semester. In other words, you can read it again and again and gain additional insight into the purposes and intended outcomes of what we are doing. The "products" you'll need to generate this semester (as performance evidence) include blogs, news headlines, case study reports, and a 5-part curriculum action plan. For next week: purchase the Fullan text (4th edition), subscribe to the "interactive texts" as listed in the syllabus, read the 3 pieces I will email to you all, and write a "What Did You Learn?" piece for your first blog posting. Let's get revved up to initiate some curricular change!
